Hema Malini: BJP MP and famous actress Hema Malini remarked that the Hindi film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ reveals the truth about the 2002 train burning event at Godhra in Gujarat that had been concealed for years. During a break from the Winter Session of Parliament on Sunday, Malini attended the matinee screening of the film at Roopam Cinema Hall while in her parliamentary constituency Mathura.
Movie highlighted the reality
Speaking with journalists, she remarked that ‘The Sabarmati Report’ was “an excellent film” and dispelled numerous misunderstandings concerning the incident. She stated that “it is an excellent film. It reveals what truly occurred. There were numerous misunderstandings regarding this incident (the Godhra case). Individuals claimed it was an accident, yet the movie shows a different story. We all recognize that the truth has been concealed for years, and this film has exposed it”. She additionally commended Kapoor’s endeavors and Massey’s performance.
Attack on Hindus
Commenting on the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh, Malini stated, “The situation there is unacceptable. That ought not to occur. We have brought this matter to the government’s attention and talked about it with the prime minister. The administration is addressing this issue.”

The actress expressed her astonishment at the violence, stating, “It is astonishing that for a long time, all (Hindus and Muslims) coexisted peacefully.” All at once, everything is different. “Hindus are attacked each time.”
