Alice Kaushik: I rejected the proposal by clarifying it was not a refusal

Alice Kaushik has clarified the situation following some unclear remarks made by her boyfriend Kanwar Dhillon about their relationship. While Alice was in the Bigg Boss 18 house, gossip started spreading that Kanwar had popped the question to her. Alice has responded following her eviction, stating that everyone had “misunderstood” Kanwar Dhillon’s comments.

Alice explained, “I believe he meant we won’t be getting married immediately, which I agree with”. In addition, she mentioned a conversation she had with Salman Khan, where he was asked about his views on marriage. “When Salman sir inquired about marriage, I replied, ‘No sir, not for the next 5 years’.” I rejected the proposal by clarifying it was not a refusal, but simply a misunderstanding.

Alice mentioned that Kanwar was the initial individual she encountered following her elimination from ‘Bigg Boss 18‘. Her statement was, “I headed directly to his residence, where I met him and his family.” We firmly trust our connection, so if Kanwar has spoken, there’s certainly a valid explanation.

Kanwar clarification over his statement

Because of the backlash, Kanwar Dhillon explained that his previous remarks had been misconstrued. He admitted, “Individuals interpreted that differently and shared their thoughts on it.” Woh duniya ka kaam hai, tawa garam tha aur roti sekne aa gaye. They simply remarked after seeing the promo but didn’t grasp my message.

Kanwar statement

For those unaware, Alice had stated earlier that Kanwar had asked for her hand in marriage and was willing to wed her while they were both on ‘Bigg Boss 18’. However, Kanwar later refuted suggesting such an idea in an interview, causing confusion and receiving some criticism.
