This Doodle’s timing coincides perfectly with the current World Chess Championship in Singapore, a much-awaited event spanning from November to December. This year’s tournament consists of 14 traditional matches, with each one lasting more than four hours, as the top players compete for dominance. In order to become the champion, a contestant needs to achieve a minimum of 7.5 points. If the games result in a draw, the tension increases with fast-paced rapid and blitz rounds, where competitors must quickly outsmart each other.
