Abhishek Bachchan: mentioned that his bond with his daughter Aaradhya is lovely

The movie ‘I Want To Talk’ starring Abhishek Bachchan has hit theaters. Shoojit Sircar’s direction of the film is being well-received by audiences. Despite frequently collaborating with Amitabh Bachchan, Shoojit revealed that the veteran actor’s son is very dissimilar to him. Actually, the way he acts is very similar to his mother, Jaya Bachchan.

Similar to his mother

During an interview, Shoojit mentioned that although people often discuss his resemblance to his father, he also noticed many characteristics of Jaya di in him, particularly in his eyes, behavior, and speech. We witnessed Jaya di’s purity in movies such as Mahanagar and Abhimaan. I witnessed that exact innocence in Abhishek. The gaze of his eyes communicated with me.

Discussing the various methods of acting between the two, Shoojit explained their approach to work. He mentioned that Bachchan sir enjoys practicing extensively for many hours. However, Abhishek enjoys being on set, absorbing everything, and reviewing the script multiple times. In this movie, though, he displayed simplicity and discipline. He fully committed to transforming into Arjun. There is nothing else you will see in the movie. He embodied the character even while on set.

Father-daughter relation

Shoojit mentioned that Abhishek’s role as a ‘girl dad’ in his personal life was also reflected in the movie ‘I Want To Talk’. He mentioned that his bond with his daughter Aaradhya is lovely, which I believe made him relate to the story.

Abhishek’s dedication towards his role

Discussing Abhishek’s dedication to the role, Shoojit expressed, “He truly revealed his true self for this movie.” He also displayed his body to me and mentioned he could eat more if I wanted him to have a larger belly. Everything depicted on the poster is entirely genuine.  The movie ‘I Want To Talk’ premiered in cinemas on Friday, November 22, 2024.
