YouTuber Rosanna Pansino Honors Late Father by Fulfilling His Dying Wish to Smoke a Joint Made from His Ashes in the First Episode of Her New Podcast “Rodiculous”
YouTube Rosanna Pansino shared with the public how she fulfilled her late father’s dying wish in a way that surprised and baffled her devoted fans. The 39-year-old star, boasting of an army of over 14.6 million subscribers, discussed her dad’s last wish for her on the very first episode of her podcast, Ridiculous. Dubbed “Smoking My Dead Dad,” she talked about the emotional yet somewhat defiant request her dad asked of her before his passing five years ago.

YouTube Rosanna’s father, affectionately known as “Papa Pizza,” died after a long battle with leukemia. In the months leading up to his death, he imparted upon Rosanna and her mother a rather unconventional wish regarding what was left of him: that they take his ashes, mix it with soil, and then cultivate the plants arising from this mixture into rolling a joint—a request that Rosanna would later fulfill in her podcast.

YouTube Rosanna Pansino says “I mean this, if Papa Pizza could see this, you guys, he would just. he would get a huge kick out of this,” Rosanna laughed on her podcast, as she told about the unusual request. She explained how, despite her mom’s initial hesitation, the family had felt this was the right way to honor him after fulfilling her father’s wish.
To make this tribute a reality, Rosanna enlisted the help of a licensed marijuana grower in California. Then, one marijuana plant was cultivated with her father’s ashes mixed into the soil; it was rolled into joints with pink paper when dried. This was a gesture to honor her father’s unorthodox spirit symbolically and emotionally.

The podcast episode devoted by YouTube Rosanna Pansino entirely to Papa Pizza became a heartfelt expression of Rosanna’s desire to fulfill the last wish of her father.
