BMW Worth ₹80 Lakh Stolen From Shilpa Shetty’s Upscale Restaurant Bastian in Dadar West

The high-profile robbery jolted the upscale restaurant Bastian – At the Top owned by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra on Sunday. A luxurious BMW Z4 convertible, worth ₹80 lakh, was stolen from the parking lot of the building, Kohinoor Square in Dadar West, on which sits the restaurant.

One such an incident occurred when a 34-year-old businessman, Ruhan Firoz Khan, and two of his friends came to Bastian at about 1 am. After handing over the car keys to the valet service, Khan and his friends went inside for dinner at the restaurant. After finishing dinner and asking for his car back, Khan was told that his prized BMW had disappeared. Moreover, CCTV footage, which was later released stated that at around 2 am; the car had been stolen by some unidentified persons.

Shivaji Park police personnel immediately started an investigation after the complaint by Khan, wherein suspects were booked under 303(2) section of BNS 2023. The authorities are already scanning surveillance footages surrounding the building in a bid to identify those responsible for its theft.
