I was taken back to the junior school plays we would put on for Republic Day or Independence Day when I saw Bandaa Singh Chaudhary. Even themes as weighty as patriotism would be reduced to their most basic form. Back then, we were young and needed time to understand. However, nostalgia isn’t necessarily a positive thing. We’ve all grown up and moved past that stage. This banda singh chaudhary movie’s creators are most likely just halfway there.
