Shraddha Kapoor Reacts to Stree 2’s Success and Comparisons with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan at the Box Office
Shraddha Kapoor is sitting pretty with the unconventional success of her latest release Stree 2, which has created much commotion in the Bollywood circuit. Speaking to NDTV in a candid conversation, she talked about the comparisons currently being drawn between her horror-comedy and the monstrous hits Jawan and Pathaan. With humility and a lot of admiration, Shraddha spoke, “I have an absolutely fantastic leading man in our Indian film industry, Shah Rukh Khan, who I have grown up being a fan of. So, we’ll keep that where it belongs.”

Of course, on box office competition, she did not resort to the rivalry route. “I know you’re saying that our film has beaten this film or that film, but to me, any Hindi film doing well is great for the industry. It’s exciting to have a film that does well, but it’s even more exciting when the entire industry thrives.” All said, that seems to reflect well on her good teamwork instead of comparisons.

In the same interview, Shraddha spoke about her love for the Stree and Aashiqui franchises, stating that she’d be more than keen to take up Aashiqui 3 if it works. While there is no concrete plan as of now, she had expressed enthusiasm, saying, “Aashiqui gave me so much love, so much appreciation. I’m sure if the makers come up with something, it would be really, really awesome.”.
Presently, Stree 2 is flying high at the box office and managed to be a huge result of Bollywood so soon starring Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana along with Shraddha Kapoor.
