The drugs have been sent to a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for testing to confirm their illegal nature. A case has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing.

This latest seizure comes just a week after a major drug bust in Delhi, where police seized over 500 kg of cocaine valued at ₹5,000 crore from the Avkar Drugs Limited factory in Ankleshwar. This operation was part of a joint effort between Gujarat and Delhi police, based on intelligence regarding an international drug cartel smuggling cocaine into Delhi. Along with the cocaine, authorities also seized 40 kg of hydroponic marijuana, marking the first such seizure in the capital.

Four individuals were arrested in connection with the Delhi drug bust. They were identified as Tushar Goyal , Himanshu Kumar , Aurangzeb Siddiqui , and Bharat Kumar Jain . The police have made significant progress in breaking up this drug network.
