Delhi Cantt, known for its lush surroundings, is said to have a ghostly presence of a woman in a white saree due to a tragic car accident that occurred there. Witnesses claim to see her roaming the street at night, suggesting her spirit lingers even after dark. There have also been reports of her requesting rides from passing vehicles and if denied, she is reported to tail them.

Dwarka Sector 9 Metro Station

It is believed that the banyan tree near the station is haunted by the spirit of a woman who died from her injuries at that location. It is said that there is an unseen entity that strikes travelers during the night and brings bad luck to those who are passing by.

Lothian Cemetery

Lothian cemetery, dating back to the British era, is known as one of the most haunted cemeteries worldwide. It is rumored that the presence of Sir Nicholas, who committed suicide due to unrequited love, haunts the place, with sightings of ghostly figures and the sensation of being watched reported by witnesses. Just the fact of being a cemetery is scary enough to keep people away once it gets dark.

Khooni Darwaza

This building, from the Mughal period, was the site of one of the most brutal events ever. The horrific event of Captain William Hodson from the East India Company orchestrating the cold-blooded murder of three unarmed Mughal princes in 1857 is identified as a historical atrocity. There have been reports of individuals spotting ghostly apparitions and hearing eerie voices whispering “Mat Aao” on the second level.

Khooni Nadi

Due to the horrific battles that occurred here, Khooni Nadi is believed to be haunted by vengeful ghosts. It is believed that individuals who go to the river never return because they are drawn in by its current. Despite its shallow depth, there have been occurrences of individuals perishing in this river, whether due to accidents or intentional acts. So far, none of the bodies have been found.
