Currently, the number of fans enthralled by Mahima Chaudhry’s beautiful acting in Indian films, and unaware of this interesting behind-the-scenes story related to the appearance of the star – Mahima Chaudhry in the film Tere Naam with Salman Khan. During an interaction with Bollywood Bubble she said that she took up the song tumble ‘O Jaana’ to the insistence of Satish Kaushik who was a director on the movie and was very close to her. The movie was denounced in 2003 happens to be one of the best performances of Salman Khan and music album of the film consist of famous songs such as ‘Tere Naam’ and ‘Kyun Kisi Ko.’

Chaudhry’s return to prominence was not easy to achieve the obstacles faced by Chaudhry came closer in 1999 while shooting for Dil Kya Kare she met with a car accident and suffered severe facial injuries. Having this in mind, she had over sixty-seven pieces of glass lodged in her face, a clear indication of the meille she had to endure before reintroducing her back into the industry. However, she was confident to come back into Bollywood and to get back into the music industry with guest appearances and song roles which would make the audiences remember she is still active in Bollywood.
In aInterview, Mahima said, “I was not even planned for in this film. On that I explain, “When I was involved in an accident, I decided I had to return to the industry, so I sang other people’s songs and made cameo appearances just to keep people in mind that I was still active.” Her getting the role in Tere Naam was rather unplanned because Satish Kaushik was looking for an actress for a dance number opposite Salman Khan. “When Satish called me, I couldn’t say no,” she fondly remembered saying and was relieved that she used her own jeans when she performed that scene.
As Mahima Chaudhare still acts her films like Kangana Ranaut starrer Emergency and her movie Signature to be released on ZEE5, her appearance in Tere Naam can be considered as a valuable stepping stone in her actor’s journey, as well as disclosess her passion towards acting.
