Nia Sharma Makes Waves as the First Confirmed Contestant of Bigg Boss 18, Set to Premiere on October 6, Breaking Her Previous Resistance to the Show

Nia Sharma is the first participant confirmed to Bigg Boss 18, which will start from October 6. Nia Sharma’s Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Naagin, and Suhagan Chudail have already gained attention to the show being widely discussed.

Interestingly, she neither said this herself; the news came on the finale episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 where Rohit Shetty did all the surprising things mentioning that he is taking Nia home on the show. Though excited and rather nervous Nia smiled through the embarrassment of congratulatory remarks from her team, it was a gigantic leap for the actress in the romantic realm.

Historically, Nia refused Bigg Boss invitations more than once to be locked up in the house for three months. Earlier, when she appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss OTT, she was vocal about her reservations regarding the show, calling it a “short cut to success.” She said that the constant surveillance of cameras in Bigg Boss proved to be overload for her and even stopped sleeping at times during her short visit there.

The fact that Nia wishes to prove her mettle in the traditional sense rather than on reality TV herself shows how dedicated this woman is to her art. As she begins this new journey, one can’t help but wait and watch how well she adjusts to this Bigg Boss terrain that once she thought was against her principles.
