Ravindra Jadeja, the talented Indian cricketer who excels in both batting and bowling, has reached a significant achievement by reaching 300 Test wickets in just 74 matches playing for India. Jadeja reached the milestone of 300 Test Wickets during the India vs Bangladesh Test match in Kanpur by dismissing Bangladesh’s Khaled Ahmed on Day 4 of the game. Jadeja also became the first Indian left-arm spinner to reach the milestone of 300 Test wickets.
Prestigious group of Indian bowlers
He is now the seventh Indian cricketer in history to reach the milestone of 300 Test wickets. He becomes a part of the prestigious group of Indian bowlers which consists of Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kapil Dev, Harbhajan Singh, Ishant Sharma and Zaheer Khan.

300 Wickets & 3000 Runs In Tests
Jadeja achieved the impressive feat of reaching 3000 runs and 300 wickets in Test cricket with his most recent scalp. He is now one of only three Indian cricketers to accomplish this, along with Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin. Worldwide, Jadeja has joined a select group of players which consists of Ian Botham, Shane Warne, Imran Khan, Stuart Broad, Richard Hadlee, Daniel Vettori, Shaun Pollock, and Chaminda Vaas.
Second-fastest player
Jadeja reached the milestone of achieving the double in just 74 matches, making him the second-fastest player after Ian Botham, who did it in 72 matches. Ravindra Jadeja has scored a total of 3,122 runs in 74 Tests, with four centuries and 21 half-centuries to his name. In terms of bowling, he currently holds 300 wickets in this format of the game, along with 13 instances of taking five wickets in an innings. Jadeja has scored 2,756 runs and claimed 300 wickets in One Day Internationals.
