After the clip appeared, the then police commissioner of Jaipur, Anand Srivastava, denied the allegations that Bishnoi had given any interview while in custody. Assistant Commissioner of Police Narayan Kumar Bajiya confirmed that the investigation will go by whatever facts have been brought to the notice and that the seriousness with which allegations like these are taken does not even have to be mentioned.
