Bhumi Pednekar was recently spotted at the 2024 GQ Best Dressed Awards. She stepped out in an ensemble that nearly everyone has labeled as her ‘Naagin’ era. The actress was seen in Raw Mango’s incredible glass armour saree along with a breast plate designed to look like a serpent that took social media by storm. Now, fashion watchdog Diet Sabya has declared this choice of dress for Bhumi ‘naagincore’, but people came divided on their perception of the same.

A new breastplate designed out of major glass grabbed attention due to exquisite bronze gold snakes coiled across the bust. Bhumi wore it with a white strapless blouse. The overall vibe was fierce and at its full avant-garde style. She styled a lehenga skirt in the form of a white cotton saree with gold lotus prints, complemented by a long pallu trailing behind like a flowing train.

Her accessories were no less dramatic in light of them: serpentine-shaped, curvy bangles, glass bangles, and ear cuffs designed differently for each breast. Bhumi’s face looked wealthy with a gamut of gold eyeshadow, pink lips, and wavy loose locks supplementing the predominantly street-lookish attire.
More unclear was the reaction of the netizens. While many fans came forth proclaiming their love for the actress’s bold choice and calling her a “warrior goddess” and “fashion queen,” others have seemingly confused themselves. One quipped, “Behen, kya kar rahi hai?” another questioned, “Which part of naagincore requires the uncle belly?” Polarized feedback or not, Bhumi’s daredevil style doesn’t go unnoticed.
