Narendra Modi, the Indian Prime Minister who has recently returned from the United States, is again holding a political meeting for the upcoming Haryana Assembly election as per the scheduled date of October 24, 2014. In a recent message that PM Modi posted on X (previously, Twitter), he assured the people of Haryana that they are capable of ensuring a total victory of the BJP in the region.

The rally, which is BJP’s biggest campaign strategy, will accommodate tens of thousands of supporters. Top party leaders including the Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will share the stage with PM Modi along with the BJP contenders from the Gohana region. The event will track the voters of 22 Assembly constituencies which will directly impact the Sonipat, Rohtak, and Panipat districts.

Streets have been closed to allow for traffic flow for guests only, pointing to the magnitude of the occasion. As per BJP district president Jasbir Dodwa, the rally would be historic. This rally is subsequent to the one which PM Modi delivered in Kurukshetra on September 15, where he flagged off BJP’s election campaign.

As the party is heading towards the third term in Haryana, efforts of PM Modi to woo voter in GT Road belt such as Panchkula, Ambala and Kurukshetra is considered crucial for state politics.
