One of the Emirates flights scheduled for Dubai encountered a couple of hours’ delay on September 24 while it was on ground at Chennai International Airport. To this they reacted by immediately informing the pilots who in turn closed the engines of the plane to avoid further action. There was likely a fire risk so firefighters were requested to address the situation while technical personnel investigated the source of that smoke.
