Sarees and Lehengas have always been favourites of Alia Bhatt and she has worn them in few of the most memorable moments of her life. For her wedding ceremony, she donned the traditional Sabyasachi ivory saree with a completely innovative twist where the lehenga is replaced by a lovely hand-embroidered organza combination. This choice also revealed her elegant personality and shifted the focus towards a new chapter of her life – with Ranbir Kapoor. Alia later wore this beautiful piece again at the National Film Awards 2023 where she received the Best Actress for her outstanding performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.

The actress’s love for sarees did not stop there and can be seen in her most recent appearance at the Met Gala event in a beautiful mint green floral saree by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. This breath-taking dress set was accompanied by a 23-foot train with hand-embroidered silk floss, glass beading, and stones to further enhance her look for fashion’s biggest stage.
