About The Night Manager
Based on John le Carré’s famous novel, *The Night Manager* is a story of Shaan Sengupta, an ex-Indian Navy officer, who turns a secret agent to come close to the arms merchant, Shailendra Rungta portrayed by Anil Kapoor. The themes include espionage, betrayal, and more importantly moral ambiguities that make the show very thrilling and interesting to watch.
Filled with the Indian celebrities, beautiful images and stunning landscapes, the Indian adaptation of The Night Manager preserves the core of the English version, but enriches it with the specific color of the Indian cinematograph. Anil Kapoor brought into live a stylish and dangerous villain, whereas Aditya Roy Kapur has done a great job of convincing and evolving from a simple hotel night shift manager to a spy.
