Actor Dalljiet Kaur and her husband, Nikhil Patel, are going through a difficult and public divorce. The couple got married in March 2023, but since then, their relationship has faced serious issues. Dalljiet has accused Nikhil, who is a businessman based in Kenya, of having an extramarital affair. Nikhil, in turn, has denied the allegations and made counterclaims against her.

Recently, Dalljiet shared a screenshot of one of Nikhil’s Instagram Stories. In it, Nikhil is seen wearing a gold ring on his wedding finger, which shocked Dalljiet. She posted about this on her Instagram, criticizing him for wearing the ring and hinting that he might be engaged to another woman, despite still being married under Indian law.
Dalljiet not only called out Nikhil but also targeted his new girlfriend, Safeena. In several long messages, Dalljiet accused Nikhil of flaunting his new relationship on social media while still having a wife in Mumbai. She wrote, “Congrats SN, must applaud the audacity to splash it again on social media. Well done both of you. Already wearing a ring again, Nikhil. Well done.”
She also criticized Safeena, calling their relationship attention-seeking. Dalljiet reminded Nikhil that he is still legally married and that Indian justice will soon make his marital status clear. She called them both out for their actions, calling it “sick mentality” and shaming them for what they are doing
Dalljiet added that Nikhil might try to claim the ring is just family jewelry, but she doubted it, pointing out that he deliberately wore it on his wedding finger and showed it on Instagram. She ended her post by saying Nikhil is anything but naive.
Rumors about their divorce began in February 2024 when they unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted posts. In May 2024, Nikhil confirmed their split, and in August 2024, Dalljiet filed a complaint against him in Mumbai. Dalljiet has a son, Jaydon, from her first marriage to actor Shaleen Bhanot.
