Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s 2018 film ‘Stree’ was a super-duper hit at the box office. Now there is a lot of buzz about the sequel of this horror comedy film ‘Stree 2’. The trailer and songs of the film have already become a hit. In such a situation, the excitement level regarding ‘Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Atank’ has also peaked. Booking of this movie is going on rampant due to which this movie has earned crores of rupees even before its release. Finally ‘Stree 2’ is ready to release in theaters tomorrow i.e. on 15th August.

Know the cast and director of ‘Stree 2’

‘Stree 2’ is made by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. ‘Bhediya’ director Amar Kaushik is helming it, featuring the same team of Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee once more.

At the end of ‘Stree’, you must have seen that Shraddha’s character walks away with Pret’s chopped braid, which has some different powers. Vicky and the gang together chase away Stree, but it is written in Chanderi Purana that as soon as Stree leaves, a new ghost is going to come. And the name of this new ghost is Sarkata. This is the ghost due to which the Stree’s terror had started.

Dinesh Vijan’s film is packed with a mix of horror and comedy

Despite the popularity of action and spy movies, big production companies have been focusing on creating a universe of such films, whereas producer Dinesh Vijan established a universe of horror comedy films in 2018. The series started with ‘Stree’, followed by ‘Roohi’ starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in 2021, and then ‘Bhediya’ with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.

In a interaction with media at Delhi press conference, the cast revealed that ‘Stree 2’ is filled with lots of suspense and drama which the audience is definitely going to enjoy. All the actors very  were nutorious on the set and it didn’t feel like they have reunited after 6 years, said by them. Throughout the interaction all the cast requested media personnels to not reveal any important deatils regarding movie as they want no spoilers to be out before the release.

Box Office clash

‘Stree 2’ is scheduled for release on August 15, 2024, where it will be up against other big films like ‘Vedaa’ starring John Abraham and Sharvari, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ featuring Akshay Kumar, and ‘Thangalaan’ with Vikram.
