The chairman of Bangladesh’s provisional administration, Muhammad Yunus, has scheduled a Tuesday meeting with leaders of the Hindu Bengali community in the nation. This occurs in the midst of a political crisis that has seen numerous Hindu temples, homes, and businesses vandalized in recent days.

Two Hindu organizations, the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad and the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, claim that since Sheikh Hasina’s administration dissolved, there have been at least 205 attacks on members of minority communities in 52 districts. In addition to vandalism, Hasina’s Awami League party claimed the lives of at least two Hindu leaders who were slain in the violence that ensued in Bangladesh after her departure.

Numerous Hindu organizations called for the Center to intervene on Sunday in order to safeguard Hindus residing in Bangladesh. The demand was made by members of organizations such as Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Sanatan Sanstha, Yog Vedant Samiti, Suyash Mitra Mandal, Yog Vedant Samiti, Manav Seva Pratisthan, Vajra Dal, and Shri Shivarajyabhishek Dinotsav Samiti.
Members of the organization assembled in Mumbai and chanted anti-Hindu slogans, accusing Bangladesh of committing atrocities against them. Additionally, they put their requests in a memorandum that they signed and sent to the government.
