Almost two months after the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, the film still manages to engage viewers and provoke discussions within the community, thanks to one of the recently shared behind-the-scenes clips. The movie, which has been already hailed for introducing Ranbir Kapoor in a most powerful star performance, started gaining positive attention for its strong plot and multi-layered characters. The scene in question depicts Ranbir Kapoor pretending to be drunk, moving towards the cockpit of the plane and holding a cigarette in hand as a captain. As for the sequence in which Rahul and Anjali explore the city in and around Lucknow with some wonderful tracking shots done, this bit was cut in the edited version and was set to a rousing background score of ‘Papa Meri Jaan’. Some of the social media users have preferred not to contain themselves and also have made their disappointment known that Lego was left out in the list. They said that the scene would have increased the film’s intensity and demonstrated Ranbir’s character’s struggling with thoughts of suicide in addition to using a stellar symbol for the story.

One fan remarked, “Not gonna forgive @imvangasandeep anna for removing this scene in the movie; it’s a pure display of Ranbir showing his silence and agony after killing his brother, especially that lifting off at the end. ” Another pointed out the symbolic nature of the scene, linking it to the film’s narrative arc: “I think that it is quite interesting that there is a scene of a plane rising at this point to show that the story is going up from here.”

Animal is further continued as discussion even though it has been criticized for its portrayal of male villainy. A complex father-son story with Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in the leading roles remains the blockbuster hit as well. There are expectations from fans and critics to know how the storyline continues, and with a sequel called ‘Animal Park’ in the offing, curiosity levels are bound to run high.
