Malayalam actress Pranitha Subhash, who recently revealed about her second pregnancy, is full of joy as she shares her experience. A mother to a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Arna, Subhash and her husband, businessman Nitin Raju always wanted to become closer as a family, repeating the saying ‘hum do hamare do’. “My husband’s preference was to have two children with a small gap in their age, and as we say if you can handle one child the second one does not make much difference” she said.

Comparing the second pregnancy with the first one Subhash is able to note the complete difference between the two. “I can openly state that this time around I am not experiencing as much pampering,” Hayley says. Stress levels rise and whose needs are being met? A woman with a toddler has to balance her career, home, and child. “They think I have gone through it before; I am not as delicate as before or that my cravings are not as crucial as before while I am busy,” she laments.
However, for Subhash, the busy life is complemented by the stability that motherhood brings into the lives of a family. “Since she gave birth, she says motherhood has made her become more focused and devoted to her family. This has made her realize the changes that have occurred in the environment and how it is much easier for working mothers to be able to balance both family and work.

Subhash appreciates the effort put forth by actresses such as Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. “These leading ladies have shifted working moms’ gimmick, balancing motherhood and still conquering their careers,” she adds. Echoing the same sentiment, Subhash expressed confidence in the idea of resurrecting her acting career after her children are of age. “That is why I established that the industry has paved way to it in a way that I don’t really have a problem of juggling between the two roles,” she concludes.
