Summer Fields School – a South Delhi School was evacuated on Friday after an email containing a bomb threat was received by the authorities there. The information indicates that the email was received on Friday at 12:30 a.m. The email was discovered by the authorities, nevertheless, only after the school opened this morning. The school is in the affluent Greater Kailash neighborhood of South Delhi.

The school’s grounds were evacuated, and the police were notified. As the case investigation moved forward, the police stated they believed the call to be a hoax. An investigation was started after a case was filed. The principal of the school, Shalini Agarwal, commented on the email and stated that the pupils were evacuated within ten minutes of the authorities receiving notice of it. She added that the bomb squad was inspecting the school’s grounds.
