Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, stated on Friday that he was going to be raided by the Enforcement Directorate because of his “Chakravyuh” speech that he made during the Union budget discussion. The leader of the Congress was informed that a raid was being planned by ED “insiders,” and he declared that he would be waiting for the central probe agency with “open arms.”
Rahul Gandhi attacked the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday during the Union budget 2024–25 discussion by using the idea of “Chakravyuh” from the Mahabharata, one of the two great Sanskrit epics of ancient India. An additional ‘chakravyuh’ has been produced for the twenty-first century. The prime minister carries the insignia, which is shaped like a lotus, on his chest. The actions taken against Abhinmanyu are also being taken against India, its women, youth, farmers, and small and medium-sized enterprises, he stated.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are two of the six individuals Gandhi said are at the core of this “Chakravyuh.” Speaker Om Birla rejected his request to name four further individuals, stating that they were not House members and hence could not be identified. Gandhi claimed that the core of this “Chakravyuh” is the political executive, central agencies, and the concept of monopoly capital that permits two people to hold all of the nation’s wealth. “A ‘chakravyuh’ of joblessness and document leaks was brought about by you… You identify as nationalists, yet you refuse to provide funding for pensions when it comes to aiding jawans. You imprisoned the young person in Agniveer’s “chakravyuh,” he remarked.
“Today a 21st century lotus-shaped Chakravyuh is trapping India and is controlled by six figures: Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Adani, Ambani, Ajit Doval, and Mohan Bhagwat,” Gandhi said later in a post on X.
