Latest Update on Pakistani SSG commando, close aide of Hafiz Saeed, killed during infiltration attempt in Kupwara: Reports
Following the attempted infiltration, a number of images of Ziaullah—a Pakistani SSG commando—went viral on July 27. Now that the commando's identity and role have been confirmed, authorities have also made public a video of him.

A major Pakistani integrated SSG commando and the extractor of 26/11 Mumbai attack helmsman Hafiz Saeed was killed in an operation with security forces in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorist Noman Ziaullah was killed while he was attempting to infiltrate into India on July 27 in the Machil sector.
An operation to infiltrate was failed in Macchal area of Kupwara by the Indian Army. The infiltrator was identified at the Matka post of the RR where they were thought to have launched a BAT operation.

Acre alert Indian Army troops, killed the said Infiltrator and recovered his weapon. The terrorist was named as Noman Ziaullah, the one in close connection with Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin, who was said to have communicated with the high-ranking officers of the Pakistani Army quite often.

It is believed that prior to the terrorist attacks, Ziaullah was primed by the Pakistani Army to advance into India. The photos that can be found across the different domains depict him in an SSG (Special Services Group) tracksuit. Moreover, Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin considered close to Hafiz Saeed, other pictures of Ziaullah with Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin are available on many platforms which prove his high level linkages with the terror modules of Pakistan.

The leader of LeT and the founder of 169 people killed in 2008 in Mumbai, Muhammad Hafiz Saeed, remains among the active and sought targets in counterterrorism. Saeed has been in jail since July, 17, 2019 and later in April this year was sentenced to 33 years by a special anti-terrorism court, Lahore Pakistan for “ funding Terrorism”.
Saeed was officially designated a terrorist by the United Nations in December 2008 and the European Union but he was able to avoid arrest and extradition for nineteen years. The duration of his terrorism activities and non-legal actions have always been a bother to the international and Indian governments.
