Ranbir Kapoor Celebrates His Marriage to Alia Bhatt, Describes Her as His Best Friend and Reflects on Their 11-Year Age Difference and Relationship Dynamics
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who are popularly known as Bollywood’s lovely pair have not failed to do so with their magical love story. Renowned for their acting prowess, the couple first shared the screen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, where the actors fell in love, on as well as off the set. Having been in a relationship for several years, they officially tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony in 2022 before their adorable daughter, Raha Kapoor, graced the world later in the same year.

This was said in one of the recent interviews by Ranbir Kapoor while he was being interviewed by Nikhil Kamath on a podcast. Talking about the power of their friendship he said, “I’m so lucky that I married a woman who is almost like my best friend – we can sit and chat, and be silly, and complain. You know, she is like my best friend. Ranbir thanked Alia and told her that she has been trying to develop and evolve with him. “She transformed more than I did,” he also noted. He also acknowledged Alia’s attempt to change her naturally loud speech that made him uncomfortable because of his family experiences. However, Alia’s caring attitude towards their daughter along with demonstrating concern in making Ranbir comfortable suggest her genuine sincere and passionate love towards him. Ranbir recalled that he has tried to make efforts for her happiness and one day he tried to bake a birthday cake for her.

At the moment, Ranbir is fully occupied with working on Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological adaptation of Ramayana wherein he is starring as Ram opposite Sai Pallavi and Yash also Sunny Deol. This is another interesting chapter in his exciting career ahead of a movie that is due for release in 2025.
