Javed Akhtar’s X Account Hacked: Veteran Lyricist Denies Posting Olympics 2024 Tweet

Javed Akhtar’s X account was hacked, with a tweet about India’s Olympics 2024 team posted without his consent. The lyricist is addressing the issue with authorities.

On Sunday, Javed Akhtar used X (formerly twitter) to inform his followers that his twitter account had been hacked. The famous screenwriter and lyricist stated that he never tweeted something regarding the Team India performance at Olympics 2024. When asked about the post, Akhtar described it as “innocent” and mentioned that he was planning to report the matter to the police.

In his post, Akhtar wrote, “My X ID is hacked. There is a message ostensibly from my account about our Indian team for Olympics. It is totally harmless but not sent by me. We are in the process of complaining to the concerned authorities in X. ” The tweet mentioned by Akhtar about the Indian team’s Olympic journey is no longer visible on his timeline. This has elicited different reactions among his fans and followers, some of whom have asked him to change his password while others wish the issue could be solved as soon as possible.

On the other hand, the sporting arena had a reason to cheer as India’s pistol shooter Manu Bhaker won the bronze medal in the Women’s 10 M Air Pistol shooting event in Paris Olympics. Bhaker’s victory was special since she became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal in shooting. Other Bollywood celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Anushka Sharma expressed their congratulations to Bhaker through their various social media platforms. Both Preity Zinta and Taapsee Pannu echoed the same sentiment and congratulated Bhaker for her brilliant performance.
