The particular video that was believed to have been in the live stream was a love-making scene between Armaan and his second wife Kritika Malik. Public outrage ensued over the footage released, and Payal Malik, Armaan’s first wife stood up to express her outrage over the issues raised.

Payal Addresses the Controversial Video: Payal then, in her recent YouTube vlog, responds to the video gaining traction on the internet noting that it was fake. She appealed to viewers, saying, “Whoever has shared the video claiming it is Armaan and Kritika, I would request them with folded hands to stop. ” Payal reiterated that the video was manipulated, pointing out discrepancies: “I spent time in Bigg Boss house and no lamps existing as shown in the clip and the blanket also differentTherefore, anyone who feels the Bigg Boss house will consider the said clip as fake.

In another vlog, she mentioned that she has separated with Armaan Malik and take her children with her as she has had it with polygamy. She also criticized parents for negative actions towards her children describing it as ‘shocking and disgusting’.

The company under fire for creating the viral video, JioCinema, stated that while filming the original sequence, they incorporated clips of other individuals, and therefore it was staged. JioCinema also released a statement dismissing the controversies that had emerged from the leaked clips, and the fact that the show was on the verge of being canned. The statement highlighted the need to confirm the content within a post before contributing to the relay of wrong information.
