Much-awaited Indian movie ‘Jigra’, with the lead characters Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina has taken yet another hit. Formerly scheduled for September 2024, the movie will only premier on October 11, 2024. With Vasan Bala in the directorial chair for ‘Jigra’, anticipation has been built especially given the actors attached to it and the premise of the film.
The announcement was made through social media by both Alia Bhatt and the producer Kjo, Karan Johar. Taking to his Facebook, Alia Bhatt shared the update with her fans and wrote ‘11. 10. 2024 | JIGRA | See you at the movies.’ As for Karan Johar, he focused on the concept of courage and protection and said, ‘Courage comes to play when one of your own is at risk.’ Introducing Alia Bhatt & Vedang Raina – #Jigra in theaters 11.10.2024. ”
Alia Bhatt who the latest worked with Karan Johar in his directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ alongside Ranveer Singh is still Bollywood’s top favourite actress. Her last movie was good and this has increased people’s expectation on ‘Jigra.’ On the other hand, Vedang Raina who is new to the acting line and feature in Zoya Akhtar Netflix series ‘The Archies’ is expected to give out a good shot. Through ‘The Archies,’ which also began integrating new faces such as Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, amongst others, was a turning point in Vedang’s ascending career.
