The Republican Party of India, the Shiv Sena, which is led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and the BJP account for four of these ministers. The saffron party is not in the mood to take things lightly following the state’s major vote catastrophe and wants to concentrate on the next Assembly elections. Notably, and regarded as a significant loss, the BJP-led NDA secured 17 of the state’s 48 Lok Sabha seats.

East Delhi MP Harsh Malhotra was the lone minister sworn in from the nation’s capital during the most recent Modi 3.0 reshuffle. On Sunday, Annapurna Devi and Sanjay Seth, two Jharkhand-based BJP MPs, also took an oath of office as ministers. In 2025, there will be assembly elections in Jharkhand and Delhi.

Eight legislators from Bihar, which gave the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) 30 MPs in the Lok Sabha, were appointed to cabinet positions. After Uttar Pradesh, this state has the second-highest number of ministerial jobs of any state. Ram Nath Thakur, Satish Chandra Dubey, Giriraj Singh, Nityanand Rai, Chirag Paswan, Lalan Singh, Raj Bhushan Choudhary, and Jeetan Ram Manjhi were among those appointed to ministerial positions.

The NDA suffered a significant setback in the just ended Lok Sabha elections as it lost more than 43 seats that it had gained in the 2019 Parliamentary election in all of the aforementioned states, which would be the subject of the Assembly election.
