  • Paneer (Indian cottage cheese), crumbled
  • Tortilla wraps or spring roll sheets
  • Onions, finely chopped
  • Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • Green chilies, finely chopped (adjust according to taste)
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chili powder
  • Garam masala powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil, for frying

Paneer Kathi Roll (Paneer Frankie)

Step-by-Step Instructions: Combine all ingredients for the spice mixture in a pan such as onions, tomatoes, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste and sauté it until it becomes soft.

  • Add 2 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chili powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until the spices release their aroma.
  • Combine the crumbled paneer and stir fry for few minutes. Till then cooked well.
  • Place the wrap or spring roll sheet on a leveled surface with a portion of the paneer mixture in the center.
  • Make a paste out of the flour and water and smear it on the wrap so that to seal all its ends.
  • Heat the oil in a flat pan and make the rolls golden brown and crispy to all sides of them.
  • Take oil into the paper towel and drain the excess oil.
