We’re Very Worried’: TMKOC Actor Gurucharan Singh Father Speaks Out on His Son’s Disappearance
Gurucharan Singh had wished his father a happy birthday on Instagram the day before he vanished. Speaking about it, Hargit stated that "no celebrations" took place.

The father of Gurucharan Singh, a key actor on the comedy show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Mr Harjeet Singh, is the one who is making this appeal. As per interview with her, Hargit added that they -the family at large- is keeping their fingers crossed and waiting for Gurucharan to come back home. The disappearance of Gurucharan Singh, our friend, has now been extending for 14 days. Hargit exclaims that this news is very distressing, they don’t know how to contact with it. We’re very upset [Hum sab bahut pareshaan hain] and impatiently waiting [Hum uske wapas aane ka intezaar kar rahe hain] for any update because the police.”

Just one day before he got missing, Gurucharan posted on his Instagram account a photo of him and his dad wishing his dad birthday. He added this: “there were no party celebrations as such, but it was good to be home with everybody, and feel a bit different about it. The day after, he was to travel to Mumbai.”
Bhakti Soni, a friend of Gurucharan who was ready to be at the Mumbai airport when he was supposed to arrive, but instead his disappearance was reported by her. She said she went straight to the airport, waited for him there, and even called him when he did not come. After all, she lacked the ability to reach him. She desires to provide leads to the authority so that they can offer a clue.
Police Investigation-
The most recent statement of News18, “He left his phone in the Palam area”, Delhi police sources said. We are trying to locate the phone but it becomes impossible to track down Gurucharan Singh, since the phone is not with the actor. CCTV footage recovered showed that he was seen stepping from one e-rickshaw into another but there was no clear footage of him getting into the e-rickshaw involved in the accident. It seems as if, he had arranged everything and already left Delhi.
Gurucharan, being a regular visitor to his parents in Delhi, was as well supposed to go back to Mumbai but has not been contactable as far as the April 22nd. The family of the victim would send a complaint in writing to the police.The additional Duty Officer of the South West Delhi, i.e. Rohit Meena, speaking to the agency in a press statement, affirmed that, “we have already registered a case of section 365 of the IPC.” We have formed a panel to look into the issue and our technical team is also probing this matter. We are now checking the camera footage of the bus on which he was walking alone.
