On Tuesday, Delhi Weather Update, experienced a minimum temperature of 17.2°C, following overnight rainfall and early morning showers that brought a welcome drop in temperature. The combination of rain and strong winds contributed to an improvement in the air quality, elevating it to the ‘moderate’ category in the national capital.

On Tuesday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) for Delhi was measured at 126, marking it as a ‘moderate’ level. This was a significant improvement from Monday when the AQI was at 207, which fell under the ‘poor’ category. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) categorizes AQI as follows: 0-50 (good), 51-100 (satisfactory), 101-200 (moderate), 201-300 (poor), 301-400 (very poor), and above 400 (severe).

Delhi’s AQI Holds ‘Moderate

On Wednesday at 9 a.m., Delhi’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) remained in the ‘moderate’ category, with a minimum temperature of 17.3 degrees Celsius, a slight decrease of 7 degrees throughout the day, according to official reports. The minimum temperature was about 1 degree below the normal for Tuesday.

The maximum and minimum humidity levels ranged from 86% to 59%. However, the Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi forecasts a decline in AQI quality in the coming days, potentially moving it into the ‘poor’ category.
