The Warner Bros.’ movie is based on a doll which has been a part of every girl’s childhood. The movie has been inspired by the popularity of the toy as well as how it has influenced generations of girls, their dreams, their self-esteem, and much more. The movie was made in partnership with Mattel Inc., the manufacturer of the toy.
The movie has been directed by Greta Gerwig, the film stars Margot Robbie in the title role and Ryan Gosling as Ken. Gerwig is known for being one of the most talented directors and her previous works such as Aldy Bird, Little Women and Night and Weekends have also been a hit.
