An Indian architect employed in Dubai has become the inaugural recipient of a prestigious mega prize in the UAE, entitling him to over ₹5.5 lakh each month for the next 25 years. Mohamned Adil Khan, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, was announced as the grand prize winner of the FAST 5 prize draw during a press conference held by the Gulf News, an English language newspaper. Khan, currently working as an interior design consultant for a real estate firm in Dubai, stands to receive Dh25,000 (equivalent to ₹5,59,822) per month for the next 25 years after winning the lottery.

Grateful for the win, Khan shared that he is the sole provider for his family and has been supporting his deceased brother’s family also. With aged parents and a young daughter to look after, he expressed that the additional financial support arrives at a crucial moment for him. Upon hearing the news, Khan’s family was equally astonished and urged him to verify its authenticity.
