Bike PDA Sparks Outrage:

One such incident occurred in New Delhi, as a video went viral on Twitter showing a couple romancing on a bike while riding on the Outer Ring Road flyover in Mangolpuri on July 16. The woman was seated on the fuel tank, facing her partner, and they were seen embracing each other during the ride. Criticism arose from netizens, with some pointing out the woman’s lack of a helmet and demanding their arrest.

Traffic Violations Take Urgent Action:

The Delhi Traffic Police issued a response to the video, encouraging the public to utilize the Sentinel App to report any instances of traffic violations similar to the one depicted in the video. Concerned citizens called for strict action against such violators to discourage such irresponsible and obscene behavior, suggesting both fines and jail sentences as appropriate consequences. Another incident was reported on NH9 near Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram, where a couple was seen embracing on a moving bike without helmets. The authorities are urged to address this issue promptly to ensure road safety and public well-being.
