As PM Modi visits UAE after his France visit, he was welcomed by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. India and UAE are looking to deepen their bilateral ties even further and work on several agreements.

- PM Modi was given a ceremonial welcome at the presidential palace in Abu Dhabi at the Qasr-Al-Watan.
- He also met Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, President- Designate of COP28, and assured UAE of India’s support as it gets ready to host COP28 in November this year.
- The visit will focus on three sectors- energy, food security, and defence.
- Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Central Bank of UAE (CBUAE) signed an agreement to promote cross-border transactions.
- A vegetarian buffet was held in honor of PM Modi.
- India also signed an MoU to open a campus of IIT Delhi in Abu Dhabi.
- Both countries have decided to boost bilateral trade and investments.

Dubai’s Burj Khalifa displayed the colours of the Indian National Flag and a picture of Narendra Modi, welcoming him for the official visit to the country.
