Smriti Irani jabs Rahul Gandhi over his ‘mohabbat ki dukaan’ remark and gives a fitting reply. Irani is known for her political vigor and has never backed away from stating the truth. Her recent reply to Rahul Gandhi’s remark is proof that she will not sit back and listen, but give back a good reply when needed.
As a reply to Gandhi’s remark, she said- “When you talk about ‘Mohabbat’, does that include the killing of Sikhs? When you talk about ‘Mohabbat’, does that include the kidnapping of women in Rajasthan? When you talk about ‘Mohabbat’, does that include denouncing the Hindu way of life? When you talk about ‘Mohabbat’, does it mean partnering with those who want to bring India to a standstill? When you talk about ‘Mohabbat’, does that ‘Mohabbat’ compel you to go seek outside intervention against your own democracy. Ye kaisa ishq hai jo desh se nahi apni political siyasat se hai?”
What was the remark made by Rahul Gandhi?
