Chopping off nails to giving up Crowns, Ukrainian Women proved Nation is everything!

Not only Men, Ukrainian women of all fields and ages are ready to tackle the Russian invasion.

Thousands of Ukrainians have answered the call to defend their country as the Russian invasion of Ukraine has faced stiff opposition. Ukrainian women have been central in efforts to counter Russian aggression since 2014.

The government has one of the most significant military forces in the world. Over 36000 women reportedly serve in Ukraine’s defense forces. This makes for 15% of the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to the report, the number of women in the Ukrainian army had doubled since 2014, when Russia annexed Crimea. Several civilians, both men, and women, joined the fight, not just the military.

Across the nation, from politicians to beauty queens, Ukrainian women have stepped forward to support Ukraine.

Against the Russian invasion, a former beauty queen has also joined the fight.

Miss Grand International 2015 Anastasiia Lenna has given up her crown and sash to defend her country. The former beauty queen is seen holding arms in a couple of photos posted to her Instagram account.

“Everyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intent to invade will be killed!” said the former beauty queen on her Instagram story.

Her previous posts appear to show her training with weapons.

Although Rudik is a staunch opponent of Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, she expressed appreciation for his decision to stay in the country during the fighting.

Moreover, she expressed appreciation for the vast support extended by Ukrainians and others overseas who have been protesting in front of Russian missions against the military invasion.
Rudik urged the international community to enforce a no-fly zone over Ukraine to prevent Russian aircraft from bombing it.
Lesia Vasylenko cuts her nails for better gun grip

Lesia Vasylenko, a Ukrainian member of parliament, told reporters that she cut off her nails to use guns if she had to defend Ukraine against the Russian invasion.

The Ukrainian politician, who said she previously had “long nails,” said during an interview on BBC Radio 4’s “Woman’s Hour that she “cut all the nails to make it easier for me to use my guns.”

Asylenko, who revealed that she was able to master the use of the weapons in just hours, noted that all men and women in the nation’s legislature are ready “to take up arms.”

Vasylenko was interviewed by CBS News and regretted that her children were taught to defend themselves during terrorist attacks instead of attending school. “What they are learning now is where to hide from what kind of attack: where to hide from an airstrike, where to hide from a missile strike, where to hide from an artillery attack,” she explained.
These are just a few examples. Ukraine’s civilians across the country have taken up arms to defend the country from Russian invasion as the war rages in Kyiv.
