Mid Air Brawl between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover
In 2017, a rift took place between Kapil and Sunil Grover. According to reports, Sunil and Kapil were travelling in the same plane when drunk Kapil started hurling abuses at Chandan Prabhakar. Anticipating the situation to get worse, Sunil took charge to control words of war. Sunil’s interference made Kapil upset and he abused him as well.
As a result, Sunil and many co-actors left the show, and the show also went off-air.
Kapil Abused Spotboye Editor, Audio Leaked
In 2018, Kapil launched another season of the famous comedy show Family Time With Kapil Sharma, and this time also, he landed himself in a controversy.
An audio clip was leaked by Spotboye where he abused a journalist named Vicky Lalwani.
He even confirmed his actions by abusing him on Twitter. Kapil was upset with the journalist as according to him, Vicky published filthy and negative news against him.
Both filed a defamation case against each other and his new show faced a suspension for a few months.
Rift with Ex-girlfriend
After Spotboye vs Kapil Sharma, the very next morning welcomed him with another controversy. Kapil filed harassment and money extortion cases against his ex-girlfriend Preeti Simones and manager Neeti Simones.
Preeti and Neeti also made such allegations and told that Kapil was under the influence of alcohol.
Misbehaved with female co-stars
At the IIFM (International Marathi Film Festival) Awards 2015, Kapil reportedly misbehaved with his female co-stars Monali Thakur, Tanishaa Mukerji, and other female guests.

Deepali Sayyad, a Marathi actress accused Sharma of misbehaving with her at a wrap-up party held to celebrate International Marathi Film Festival Awards 2015. But the comedian went into complete denial of the accusation and even said that he was not present at the event.
When Entire Kayastha Community Boycotted him
Sometimes Kapil crosses the line while cracking the jokes on the show. In one of such episodes, he took a jibe on one of the deities of the Kayastha community. Therefore, they demanded a boycott.
