Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Vaswani, Pankaj Kapur, Om Puri and Satish Shah played the lead roles in the film which took a deep hit on the corruption of the system. The audience did not show any interest in watching the film and said the same – Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. But, this film directed by Kundan Shah is still liked due to its timeless story and performance. Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron is ranked 33rd among the top 100 Bollywood movies as per the Internet Movie Database (IMDB) ratings.

2. Andaz Apna Apna: Rajkumar Santoshi’s comedy film ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ still manages to tickle the audience. This is the only film in which Aamir Khan and Salman Khan came together. Today it is difficult to imagine that Aamir-Salman will come together and the film becomes a flop, but Andaz Apna Apna is a flop. However, the Aamir-Salman tussle made a place in the hearts of the audience and as time passed, Andaz Apna Apna became a cult movie. Andaz Apna Apna is ranked 12th in IMDB’s Top 100 Films.

3. Agneepath: The character of ‘Agneepath’ is included in the memorable roles of Amitabh Bachchan. Especially his way of speaking. Bachchan was said to have followed Marlo Brando of The Godfather. The film was a critical and commercial flop, but when Big B received the National Award for it, the opinion about ‘Agneepath’ changed. However, the film was not successful at the box office. Manisha Koirala played the female lead role.

5. Mera Naam Joker: Showman Raj Kapoor’s film ‘Mera Naam Joker’ is counted among the classic films of Hindi cinema today, but this film, released in the seventies, was such a big flop that Raj Kapoor’s financial condition had become very bad. It took Raj Kapoor 6 years to make this philosophical-tempered film depicting the life of a circus clown. The film’s music was a hit for almost four and a half hours. Even cameos to big stars like Dharmendra, Manoj Kumar and Rajendra Kumar could not save the film. However, due to its cinematic value, the film is considered a cult-classic.

7. Mother India: This epic drama focuses on an impoverished woman who is forced to care for her two sons alone while surviving threats from a nefarious money-lender when her husband leaves the family in disgrace. At the time it was made, Mother India was one of the most expensive Hindi movies ever made and is considered one of the most revered movies in Bollywood history.
