Amit Sadh: The journey of resuscitate role

Amith Sadh, a man who failed, succeeded, but never gave up! He completes 10 years in the industry, here is a compilation of his craft!


Amit Sadh has completed a decade in Bollywood and his journey from
television to web shows is phenomenal. He started his television
career in the year 2002, Kyun Hota Hai Pyar as Aditya Bhargav. He also appeared in various tv-shows as Contestant in Nach Baliye Season 1, Nach Baliye Season 1, Big Boss Season 1.

In the interview, Amit Sadh revealed that he started his career from
TV but he did not leave the medium. He said that he was banned. The
actor said that people called each other and said not to work with
him. He revealed that he got a call from a big producer who told him
that there are many stories about him. However, he later decided to
put all his anger into work and started meeting good people. He said,
“Destiny never changes with money, but sometimes it turns by meeting
good people too.”

He made his debut on the silver screen with “Phoonk 2”. which had
released on April 16, 2010. Since then, he has been entertaining the
audience with his versatility. Let’s take a look at his stellar
performances role.

1. Kai Po Che: 2013 Indian drama film directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, based on Chetan Bhagat’s 2008 novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life. Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkummar Rao and Amit Sadh star as the three main protagonists while Amrita Puri played the female lead. The soulful music is given by Amit Trivedi and lyrics by Swanand Kirkire.

The story revolves around three friends set in Ahmedabad, who starts a sports academy. Later three of them realised their goal is different.
The friendship turns into an ugly fight as the 2002 riots in Gujarat
state in which Hindu mobs attacked Muslims, nearly killing about 1000
people.

Amit Sadh portraying the role of omi( Sushant’s best friend).Joined
his uncle party due to the money they owe from him. The
political-religious conflict turns into killing his parents. Which he
decided to take the revenge from the Muslim community. The performance of Amit Sadh was outstanding and magical making the scene more vivid.

2. Sultan: 2016 Indian sports drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar
Produced by Yash Raj Films. The film stars Salman Khan (Sultan Ali
Khan) and Anushka Sharma (Aarfa Ali Khan) as the lead character,
Randeep Hooda as Fateh Singh (Sultan’s coach) and Amit Sadh (Aakash Singh Oberoi) as supporting actor. The film focuses on Sultan Ali Khan, a former world wrestling champion from Haryana whose successful egoistic career has created a fracture in his personal life.

Though the role of Amit Sadh in the movie is short, who is playing the
role of a mislay businessman, whose main motive was to earn profit but after hearing the story of Sultan as Salman Khan he decided to help him by fulfilling his dream of opening a blood bank. The moment Amit Sadh entered the screen, it becomes unquestionable to judge his irreproachable character.

3. Gold: 2018 historical sports drama film written and directed by
Reema Kagti and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. It is based on the journey of India’s first national hockey team to win the 1948 Summer Olympics gold medal. Akshay Kumar (Tapan Das), the man who was the backend and the frontend of his team, which helped India to win its gold medal in the Summer Olympics. Mouni Roy, in her Bollywood film debut, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh, Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Nikita Dutta feature in supporting roles.

Amit Sadh Portrays the role of Raghubir Pratap Singh, a passionate
hockey player born with a silver spoon. In an interview, Amit shared
his journey of giving his two years for his spectacle role. His
aggression of expression and change of hue during the match will prove that his undoubtedly one of the neglected talented in the industry.

He made his web series debut in the year 2018 with the powerpack
performance in crime thriller web series, Breathe season 1 and 2.
Talking about his role in both the season, “There is a madness to the
method And a method to the madness! It has been a long painful journey getting into the skin of the new avatar of Kabir Sawant. A character whose past is as dark and twisted as the moment he lives in it made me realise the extreme limits of human strength”.

Amit Sadh was seen in Breathe season 2 as Kabir Sawant, who headed the missing case of Abhishek Bachchan’s Daughter Siya’s kidnapping. To adopt the avatar of a cop, Amit went to a long painful tough journey, to justify his role. He is a fearless cop who can do anything to stop the killer in Breathe. His strong instincts and a sharp mind managed to catch the antagonist. The character was mentally and physically tough but his dedication and consistency will make you believe that why he is one of the versatile method actors.

The actor will be soon seen in the Vidya Balan starrer “Shakuntala
Devi”, which is based on the life of the late mathematics genius
Shakuntala Devi. The film directed by Anu Menon. The other star cast
Sanya Malhotra as Shakuntala’s daughter and Prakash Belawadi as
Shakuntala’s father. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will not
be released theatrically and will stream worldwide on 31 July 2020 on
Prime Video.

He will be also seen in Yaara a crime drama film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The film stars Vidyut Jammwal, Shruti Haasan, Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma and Kenny Basumatary. The film is produced by Tigmanshu Dhulia Films and is a remake of the French film A Gang Story (2011). The film is about the rise and fall of four friends’ rustling operations across the India–Nepal border.
