How you can be a leader instead of a boss?
Don’t wait for a promotion. Start being a leader instead of a boss!
The good leaders are the cornerstone of the organisation. They are capable of inspiring the very best from their colleague and the companies for which they work. We are conditioned to think that leadership can only be attained through a position of power, but the truth is, real leadership can come from anywhere.
It’s just the commitment to create positive change in yourself and others. No matter, from where you belong or where you sit in the company you can always be a leader.
Here are a few tips you can follow to be the leader whom everyone looks up to.
1. Practice what you preach
Having the do-as-I say attitude doesn’t make you likeable and doesn’t earn you respect. A good leader is one who leads by examples and does what they expect everyone to do. If you expect everyone to be a hard worker, then you should be a hard worker too. By showing how it is done you earn the respect and loyalty of your team.
2. Be goal-oriented
Stop fussing over the problems and direct your attention towards the solution. A good leader first prioritize the work so that they can get the most important things done first.

4. Take responsibility
Nobody likes the boss who just assigns the works. Instead of pointing fingers and playing the blame game, be a good leader that takes equal responsibility for themselves.
5. Learn from everyone
Leadership qualities requires continous learning. There is a lot to learn everyday, learn from everyone around you. The world is filled with examples. Be open to learning, there’s always a new skill to master!
