Empowered Women, Empowered India: The Backbone of a Viksit Bharat
Empowered Women, Empowered India was the powerful theme under which the renowned Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi hosted a historic national event on July 31, 2025. Titled “Empowered Women, Empowered India: A Step Towards a Developed Nation,” the program stood as a celebration of Nari Shakti, serving as a compelling reminder that without the active and equal participation of women, the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India) cannot be fully realized.
Hon’ble MP Shri Lumbaram Choudhary of Jalore-Sirohi Rajasthan led the event with vision and a distinguished panel including Hon. MP Smt. Assams Bijuli Kalita Medhi Hon. MP Smt. Choudhary himself as well as Kamlesh Jangde (Chhattisgarh).
An Unequivocal Plea for Inclusion and Equality
Smt. s keynote speech was the event’s high point. The Chief Guest for the event was the Hon. Minister of State for Food and Public Distribution Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya. A vital truth was emphasized by her motivational remarks: A country cannot be considered developed unless half of its population – its women – are equally empowered and engaged.
Her message was a call to action rather than just a statement.

Thousands of people from all over India attended the event which was a lively demonstration of the various roles women are playing in forming the country. These attendees included students, teachers, professionals, scientists, housewives and social activists.
